Strain Inventory

The attached inventory file describes microbial strains and their locations in the -80 ˚C freezer located in PC2 laboratory 301A in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New South Wales. The inventory is composed of strains that students and staff have either isolated from the environment, acquired from culture collections or other research groups internationally or constructed at UNSW. Each strain is present in the freezer in triplicate. Replicate A is the working stock. Replicate B is only to be used to create a new stock if replicate A has lost viability or is contaminated. Replicate C is a final back-up and should not be used without consulting Mike Manefield (manefield@unsw.edu.au). To add things to the inventory please consult Linjie Tang (linjie.tang@student.unsw.edu.au) who is the official curator of the collection.
